The SmartDrying project consists in the development of an intelligent system for drying WWTP sludge, with high efficiency and responding to the new economic and sustainability challenges of the sector.
Its purpose is to introduce an autonomous robot capable of stirring the sludge, thus facilitating the drying work.
SmartDrying is supported under the R&D PROJECTS - PROJECTS UNDER COPROMOTION incentive system. It is composed by the non-business entity INESC TEC (Institute for Systems Engineering, Technology and Science).
