The collaborative project rePLANt held a demonstration session on March 23, in Mata do Braçal, in Lousã.
Fravizel was present with the Riper Amontoador, an equipment that serves to perform ripping, dredging and demarcate the planting line in a single pass, being able to fertilize simultaneously. It is a partial and non-intensive mobilization, contributing to the accumulation of carbon in the soil and maintenance of the physical structure that the new roots will take advantage of, thus providing a good "planting bed".
The field session was sold out and the participants could tour the "four technological stations" and see the results already achieved in the scope of rePLANt. The project has an investment of 5.6 million euros, supported by Compete/Portugal 2020, through the POCI and Lisbon 2020 programs, and ends in June 2023.
